Since Jacob's birthday is in August, he gets a "special day" at school and this year, his happened to fall on the same day that the firefighters were coming to school. So, he and I decided that a firetruck cake was the best decision for that day! I think it turned out pretty good and the kids LOVED it! It was a fun day at school and something I know Jacob will remember :-) Here are the pictures from that!

Caleb's 3rd Birthday!
We just celebrated our baby boy's THIRD birthday. That is just unbelievable to me. He is getting to be such a big boy and the "baby" is pretty much gone. It is bittersweet. Joe and I are loving that they are both getting more and more independent, but also hating that fact that the baby days are over. On his actual birthday, we celebrated just the 4 of us with a hot dog dish dinner (Caleb's favorite) and cupcakes (his request) and a few presents! Here are some pictures from that.

First Time With No Training Wheels!
A few weeks ago, Joe came home from work a little early and decided to take Jacob's training wheels off and teach him how to ride without them. He did AWESOME!!! Here is a quick video from that first ride :-)

Daddy Night at School
The first day of March was Daddy night at school. It is one of Jacob's FAVORITE nights and since I am the class photographer, I get to sneak in and take pictures and get to see what the other mom's don't get to see. I love watching Joe with our boys. He is such a wonderful daddy and they enjoy every second of their time with him. Here are some pictures I got of just Joe and Jacob together.

Jacob's First Tooth is GONE!
Joe was leaving for a week long business trip, so that Sunday he decided to help Jacob pull out his tooth that was hanging by a thread so that he was able to be here for it. Jacob actually LET him and I was able to get it on video! Here is that video...
